Notes on Walking Without Headphones

A personal note on attention, boredom, and why some thoughts only arrive when the day gets quieter.

Walking without headphones changes the pace of thought.

There is less stimulation, which means less of the usual escape hatch from whatever the mind is trying to process. Some days that is uncomfortable. On other days it is exactly what makes new ideas possible.

I increasingly think there is value in protecting a few low-noise spaces inside otherwise crowded weeks.
